The runway is witnessing a resurgence of themes like romance, girlhood, and florals. This rose motif intriguingly spanned across the major fashion capitals for the spring season. The trend was evident in designs ranging from Alexander McQueen's floral dresses to Balmain's red-accented jumpsuits. Sarah Burton marked the end of her tenure at Alexander McQueen with a collection that drew partial inspiration from the vivid imagery of a blood-red rose. The Spring/Summer 2024 runways showcased an array of rose prints, floral adornments, three-dimensional appliqués, and bold silhouettes. Both Comme des Garçons and Marni featured large-scale floral designs, while Simone Rocha integrated life-sized pink roses directly into the fabric of her creations.
